Why do we need to practice Qigong

Qigong is a combination breathing techniques and body movements to keep potential energy below the body, helps our brain stable during meditation and improve or maintain our health..

The golden rule of the practice of meditation is that we should treat the body as the root of the mind. When we pay attention to the body, the brain will be less active so the mind is quite. It involves two techniques: Abiding in the body (always remember the body) and being aware of all of it (from head to toes). But how could we achieve that? Through the practice of qigong.

Qigong plays a role in fostering inner strength, which in turn nurtures the brain. And those who possess great inner strength always feel their life energy, so they’re easy to remember their whole bodies. Consequently, we can summarize this concept in one formula: When the brain is active, the mind is unsettled. Conversely, the brain is less active, the mind is calm. To achieve a tranquil mind, we need to abide in the body and be aware of the body (alongside other techniques). To achieve that, we need the inner energy from qigong.

Practicing qigong contributes to inner strength (helps nourish the brain, keep the potential energy below the body to avoid running up the head to ruin the brain, create inner strength to remember the body and be aware of the body during meditation).
